Tomorrow I am off down to Brean Sands to open up my caravan that has been closed for the winter. Last year after I was made redundant I purchased a nice six berth caravan down in brean with some of the redundancy. I know it’s not for everyone, but I’ve always quite liked caravan holidays in the UK and I particularly like this area of Somerset. Plus vans have come on a long way in recent years and this one has double glazing, central heating and even an on suite main bedroom. Also my daughter who is just over two absolutely loves it down there, so it’s a really enjoyable break to go.

I’m quite looking forward to it now, although it’s going to be very cold initially as it’s been empty for nearly three months, it will be a much needed weekend break. Last weekend I went to Scotland with a load of friends to watch Wales play Scotland at Rugby, as I’m sure you can imagine there was a lot of alcohol consumed. So the change of pace this weekend will be more than welcome.
