Life, the Universe and the Internet

Well as the name of this site suggests, my name is Steve Kinsey. I’ve tried blogging a few times in the past but never really put enough effort into it. I plan to mainly make this blog about making a living online and website development. I’m currently trying to make a living through affiliate marketing, a little bit of site building for small clients and a few other site online activities that are currently brewing up in my little brain.

In terms of development I do all my site work in using the .Net 2 framework using Microsoft Visual Studio. So you can expect lots of posts about VB.Net, C#.Net and maybe a little CSS. If anyone is still here after that last sentence then I will also probably post the odd mini review of DVD’s as my main passion is Movies and perhaps the odd gadget review. Also assuming I get a bit better at it, I will post the odd tip on making money online.

Now for some self plugs, my biggest site has to be www.digitallard.com, this is an entertainment website covering movies, games and music. It’s without doubt the biggest project I’ve ever done and includes a back end database, a complex CMS (Content Management System), RSS Feeds, Community Forums and Regular Competitions. The site has been a real learning experience for me and not just in terms of programming but also link building, money making and PR.
